5. Wear and Tear.
Certain parts of a bicycle are subject to wear and tear because of their function. The degree of wear depends on the nature of care, maintenance and use of TT-EBIKE bicycle products (mileage, climate and road conditions, etc.). Bicycles that are often placed outdoors will also increase wear and tear due to weathering. For safety reasons, parts must be replaced once the wear limit is reached. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Drive chains or toothed belts;
- Brake cable;
- Brake pads;
- Brake disc rotor;
- Rubber handle;
- A sprocket, pinion, or toothed pulley;
- A gear cable;
- Tire;
- Inner tube;
- Saddle cover;
- Rim;
- Bearings in the headset, hub and bottom bracket.
Brake pads and brake discs are subject to wear due to their function. Check the condition of the brake pads regularly and, if necessary, get them replaced by a specialist dealer. Brake disc rotors can also wear. As part of the inspection, check the thickness of the brake disc regularly and replace the components if necessary.
Replacement of these parts due to wear and tear is not subject to the statutory warranty. Environmental factors cause wear on these moving parts. These areas must be cleaned and maintained regularly. Depending on the operating conditions, the possibility of having to replace parts due to wear cannot be ruled out (for example, if bearing play starts to occur). Before scheduling a repair, you must contact your support@ecoe.store to ensure that your problem is handled in the fastest and most cost-effective manner. The transport and disassembly instructions for the TT-EBIKE bike must be followed. Otherwise, warranty service will not be provided.
Failure to observe assembly specifications and inspection intervals may invalidate warranty and defect liability. Parts that must be replaced due to wear and tear are not covered by this limited warranty.
